Early in 1985 the Society received an original script of The Phil Silvers Show from former cast member Nick Saunders. Nick had

played Captain Barker during the four -season run of the show. When the Society met with Nick in Los Angeles in October 2000

he handed over the original cast-call/rehearsal sheets which had been issued with the scripts. It is with great pride that we are

able to present to you examples of pages from the both the script and the rehearsal sheets.

The script itself is for Weekend Colonel, written by Neil Simon and Terry Ryan. It was the final episode of the series and brought

down the curtain on one of television's finest comedy shows. The script pages contain Nick's handwritten annotations and

additions.
